5 Natural Methods for Connecting with your Highest Self

Sometimes you feel a sudden inspiration or a Truth suddenly comes into your mind and heart. In those moments you are connected to your Highest Self. But is there a way to purposely connect with our Highest Selves?

Of Course there is!

#1 MEDITATION:

This is perhaps the most obvious method of connecting to your Highest Self. While meditating the worries of life become quieter, and your mind stills. You are able to hear that inner voice giving you the guidance that you need. 

#2 CRYSTALS:

Third Eye and Crown Chakra Crystals activate those centers of energy and help you connect with the higher energies where your Highest Self lives. For a double effect, try meditating lying down, with an amethyst, clear quartz, sodalite, or fluorite on your forehead. Feel that energy in your forehead as you meditate. For me personally, this always boosts my chances of coming away with at least on inspiration!

#3 ESSENTIAL OILS:

For the triple effect add in spiritually awakening oils like Frankincense, Black Spruce, Ylang Ylang, or Ravintsara. My personal go-to is Live with Passion oil, which has (among other things) Sandalwood, Idaho Blue Spruce, Northern Lights Black Spruce, Ylang, Ylang, and Frankincense.

Yoga and Meditation really go hand in hand, but let's think about yoga in terms of subtle, continuous movement. Steadying your breath, and allowing your body to get into a rhythm as you go through your yoga flow... this can be such a great way to gain a meditative state, especially for those who get fidgety when they sit still. 

#5 GET OUTSIDE:

Use one or all of these other methods, but try doing them outside. You will massively increase your chances of releasing the earthly emotions and feeling that connection to something bigger!
